Week five came and went… and I gained 2 pounds. It wasn’t a surprise, I saw it coming after week fours downward spiral. I’m doing good this week… I’m staying focused and have met all of my food goals so far. I’m still walking the dam 3 times a week with my friend Jim. There’s even a treadmill in the house now but I’m having a hard time getting used to walking on it. It’s a different walking experience all together.
Later today I am heading into town to pay a visit to the Redwood Health Club to inquire about a membership. This is a huge step for me… putting myself out there online is easy since I don’t have to deal with direct interactions from people I don’t know. I know this is my shyness and fear creeping in but I just need to push it aside and go for it. I know that going to the Health Club will be awkward at first, I’m hoping that I can get over that feeling quickly and move on. We’ll see how it goes.
