		<description>@Leah I believe the advantages of WordPress is that it&#039;s so simple and easy to use. Plus it&#039;s FREE for the most part. To get started all you need is an idea and the right Web hosting provider. I&#039;ve working with other platforms, and some are paid and some are just overwhelming.

All in all, I believe WordPress is so popular because it was one of the first free publishing platforms, and because of the people hopped on the bandwagon. And now with those early adopters and the new adopters it&#039;s becoming the premiere publishing platform.

IMO, this also adds other advantages and tremendous value by using WordPress because there are so many people working night and day to make WordPress more secure, and easier to use and manage.

There&#039;s plenty of blogs, books, and people who work with WordPress, which I feel is another great advantage of using WordPress
